What is the cost to the Consumers/Viewer?
Streaming Cost: The consumer will pay for chips which will enable the viewer to watch any particular film at his leisure. Each film will have a chip value set by the filmmaker/producer. The chips will be spent at your leisure, as you watch each film on line. Each chip will cost one dollar.
Downloading & Purchase Cost: The consumer will pay a set price to download and or purchase the Dvd/download.
What is the revenue for the Filmmaker?
Streaming Revenue: The filmmaker/producer will receive a percentage of the revenue for each time the film is shown. Payments are made on a quarterly basis. Further details are outlined in the licensing agreement
Downloading & Purchase Revenue: You and TBTV will set a price for the cost of the download and purchase of your item. The Film maker will receive a percentage on each sale.
How secure are my films ?
TBTV utilizes Digital Rights Management (DRM), via Microsoft. DRM protects digital media and limits access to only those people, who have acquired a proper license to the content. In essence; DRM locks digital media files with a license key to maintain content protection, even if these files are widely distributed. Each license is uniquely assigned to each computer. This prevents illegal distribution /copying of digital media files, such as your films!.
How do I submit my video to your site ?
Simply use the upload your video onto the general networking site.
How do I submit my movie to your site ?
You can upload your film directly to the site . Or you may submit a movie to TBTV 299 Broadway Suite 710, New York, NY 10007. In either case contact our office at info@totalblacktv.com and we will send you the appropriate licensing forms.
Your film should be in the format of a beta max film cassette or VHS cassette, or dvd or a avi format (which can be emailed). Films submitted in the latter format will take 1-2 business days to upload. Films that have to be encoded will take 3-4 business days to upload. Please send with a with self stamped addressed envelope so that we can return your film.
