Survivors of Tropical Cyclone Idai are struggling to get the basic necessities due to lack of infrastructure in certain parts of the various countries and also due to the amount of damage in cities such as Beira.
Ghana Bus Collision
At least 60 people are dead following the collision of two buses in Ghana.
The buses are believed to have been carrying 50 passengers each when they collided. One caught fire while the other was badly mangled.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined but local media is reporting that the driver lost control of the bus after falling asleep.
According to the Ghanaian police motor transport and traffic directorate, an average of six people die on the country’s roads every day.
